Honeywell space heater models recalled in USA

In the recent days we received some news about 19,000 units of Honeywell electric heaters being recalled by Kaz USA in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which recommends the consumers to stop using their portable ceramic heaters because the risk of fire hazard they possess. The recall covers products with date code ending with number “11″ which can be found and checked on the metal prongs of the plug. Affected model numbers are: HZ-420, HZ-430 and HZ-440 and were sold from July through December at Meijer, Best Buy and Walmart stores.

The reason of the recall is: “The heater’s internal housing, including the fan, heating element and circuitry, can detach, posing a burn hazard to consumers.”
The consumers should stop using the electric appliance immediately and contact Kaz USA for a full refund.
